That is the honest version. Here is what we are, and what would make us want to talk anyway.

What Bible Affirmations for Women is

An iPhone app that puts scripture in front of women in the middle of an ordinary day. 40 categories across nine seasons of life, home and lock screen widgets, gentle reminders, guided Selah breathing, and a share studio for turning a verse into something you can send to someone. It runs in 3 languages, is free to start, and is built on a small stack: SwiftUI on the front, a Cloudflare Worker for the few things that need a backend, and the static site you are reading right now.

No open roles

We are not going to list positions we are not hiring for. There is no headcount, no recruitment pipeline, and no HR department behind this page. When that changes, it will be listed here and the date will be on it.

What we would still like to hear about

If any of the following is true, write anyway and it will be read properly.

  • You know scripture better than we do. Seminary training, biblical languages, pastoral or women’s ministry experience. Every affirmation in the app is tied to a specific verse, and we would rather have someone qualified tell us where a reading is strained than find out from a one star review. Paid review of specific categories is something we would genuinely consider.
  • You have found a real problem. A bug, a security issue, a verse attributed to the wrong reference, or an affirmation that does not honestly follow from the text it cites. That is more useful than a CV and it is the best introduction there is.
  • You build iOS apps. SwiftUI, WidgetKit, StoreKit. No promises, but we would like to know you exist.
  • You translate. The app ships in 3 languages and some of those could be better, particularly where an affirmation has to stay faithful to the verse and still sound like something a person would actually say.

What we are not looking for

  • Agencies, outsourcing firms and recruiters. These go straight to the bin, sorry.
  • Guest posts and link exchanges. The blog is written in house and we do not sell links.
  • Generic applications sent to a hundred companies. We can tell, and so can you.

Email job@thebibleforwomen.app. Tell us what you would want to work on and why, and link to something you have made. Short is fine. There is no form, no tracking system, and no automated rejection.
