1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing or using Bible Affirmations (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Bible Affirmations provides daily Bible verses, affirmations, reflections and prayer prompts, organized into categories for different seasons of life, along with home screen and lock screen widgets, reminders, guided breathing sessions and sharing tools. The App offers both free and premium subscription-based features.

3. Subscriptions

  • Some features require an active subscription, available as auto-renewable in-app purchases through Apple.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same price.
  • You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. Content Disclaimer

  • Bible verses are quoted from the Berean Standard Bible (BSB), which is freely available for use without restriction.
  • Affirmations, reflections and prayer prompts are written and reviewed in advance, ship inside the App, and are for inspirational purposes only.
  • The App does not provide professional theological, psychological or medical advice. Please consult qualified professionals for such guidance.
  • Guided breathing sessions are a relaxation aid. They are not a medical treatment. If you have a respiratory, cardiac or anxiety condition, speak with your doctor before using them.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, modify or distribute the App.
  • Use the App in any way that could damage or impair its functionality.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design and code within the App, excluding the Bible text itself, are the intellectual property of Bible Affirmations and are protected by copyright laws. Photo backgrounds are supplied by Unsplash and remain subject to the Unsplash License.

7. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data or service interruptions.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer resides.
