Verses for Friendship

My words can build someone up today.

A Bible affirmation for friendship, rooted in 1 Thessalonians 5:11.

Therefore encourage and build one another up, just as you are already doing.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 · BSB

Reflection

Paul tells this young church to keep encouraging one another, just as they already were. Encouragement isn't empty cheerleading. It's reminding someone of what's true when she has forgotten it.

A prayer

God, show me who needs encouragement today, and give me the right words for her.
