Verses for Tired Moms

I can parent from love, not fear.

A Bible affirmation for tired moms, rooted in 2 Timothy 1:7.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

2 Timothy 1:7 · BSB

Reflection

Just before this, Paul mentions that Timothy's faith first lived in his grandmother Lois and his mother Eunice. Fear-based parenting tends to raise anxious kids. Power, love and self-control are what's worth passing on.

A prayer

God, give me a calm spirit in hard parenting moments. Let my correction come from love.
