Jesus sleeps through storms, and He can calm mine.
A Bible affirmation for restless nights, rooted in Mark 4:38-39.
But Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on the cushion. So they woke Him and said, “Teacher, don’t You care that we are perishing?” Then Jesus got up and rebuked the wind and the sea. “Silence!” He commanded. “Be still!” And the wind died down, and it was perfectly calm.
Mark 4:38-39 · BSBReflection
A storm was swamping the boat, and Jesus was asleep on a cushion. When the disciples woke Him, He told the wind: be still. If the storm in your head is keeping you awake, you can wake Him with a prayer.
A prayer
Jesus, speak to the storm in my mind tonight: be still.
