Verses for Loving Yourself

Nothing, not even my worst day, can separate me from God's love.

A Bible affirmation for loving yourself, rooted in Romans 8:38-39.

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor principalities, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Romans 8:38-39 · BSB

Reflection

Paul runs through every threat he can think of: death, life, angels, the future, height, depth. Then he adds anything else in all creation, just to be sure. If none of that can come between you and God's love, your mistakes can't either.

A prayer

Lord, on the days I can't stand myself, hold me in a love that won't let go.
