Verses for Marriage

Love doesn't keep a record of wrongs. I'm tearing up the list.

A Bible affirmation for marriage, rooted in 1 Corinthians 13:5.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no account of wrongs.

1 Corinthians 13:5 · BSB

Reflection

Paul says love keeps no account of wrongs, like a bookkeeper who refuses to keep a ledger. In a marriage, old offenses make tempting ammunition. Love chooses not to stockpile it.

A prayer

God, help me let go of the record I've been keeping. Teach me to love without a ledger.
