Verses for Marriage

We won't let the sun go down on our anger.

A Bible affirmation for marriage, rooted in Ephesians 4:26-27.

“Be angry, yet do not sin.” Do not let the sun set upon your anger, and do not give the devil a foothold.

Ephesians 4:26-27 · BSB

Reflection

Paul doesn't say never be angry. He says don't let anger sit overnight. Unresolved anger becomes a foothold. Sometimes the bravest thing in a marriage is talking it through before bed.

A prayer

God, help us deal with anger honestly and quickly, before it takes root.
