My work matters to God, and it doesn't own me.

A Bible affirmation for your career, rooted in Ephesians 2:10.

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.

Ephesians 2:10 · BSB

Reflection

God prepared good works for you in advance, and plenty of them happen at a desk, a register, a classroom or a kitchen table. Your job can be part of your calling without becoming your identity.

A prayer

Lord, guide the work of my hands. Help me work with excellence and still keep my peace.
