God's word stands forever, and I can stand on it.

A Bible affirmation for every day, rooted in Isaiah 40:8.

The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.

Isaiah 40:8 · BSB

Reflection

Isaiah compares people to grass that withers and flowers that fall. Everything fades. But the word of our God stands forever. When everything else feels temporary, His word is solid ground.

A prayer

God, let me build my life on Your word, which stands forever.
