Today is a gift from God, and I'll receive it that way.

A Bible affirmation for every day, rooted in Psalm 118:24.

This is the day that the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Psalm 118:24 · BSB

Reflection

Today doesn't have to be spectacular to be sacred. The psalmist chose to rejoice in the day God made, not the day he wished for. That choice is open to you this morning.

A prayer

Lord, help me receive this day well. Let gratitude shape my words and actions.
