I can ask God to heal me, plainly and boldly.

A Bible affirmation for healing, rooted in Jeremiah 17:14.

Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for You are my praise.

Jeremiah 17:14 · BSB

Reflection

Jeremiah was mocked, plotted against and thrown into a cistern for telling the truth. His prayer here is short and direct: heal me, and I will be healed. You don't need fancy words to ask.

A prayer

Lord, heal what's wounded in me. I'm asking plainly, and I'm trusting Your timing.
