Reflection

Paul says give thanks in every circumstance, not for every circumstance. You don't have to be grateful for the pain. You can still find God's kindness inside it, and that keeps your heart from closing.

A prayer

Lord, I'm not thankful for everything that's happening. But show me where You are in it, and I'll thank You for that.
