I'm not stuck in fear. God gave me power for this.

A Bible affirmation for motivation, rooted in 2 Timothy 1:7.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

2 Timothy 1:7 · BSB

Reflection

Just before this, Paul tells Timothy to fan into flame the gift God gave him. Motivation sometimes has to be stirred up like coals. The Spirit is already there. Your part is to blow on the embers.

A prayer

Holy Spirit, stir up what You've put in me. Give me power, love and a clear mind for today.
