Verses for Motivation

I'm doing a great work, and I won't get pulled away from it.

A Bible affirmation for motivation, rooted in Nehemiah 6:3.

So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work and cannot come down. Why should the work stop while I leave it to go down to you?”

Nehemiah 6:3 · BSB

Reflection

Nehemiah was rebuilding Jerusalem's walls while his opponents kept inviting him to meetings meant to stop him. His answer: I am doing a great work and cannot come down. Not every invitation deserves your time.

A prayer

God, help me stay focused on the work You've given me, and say no to distractions.
