God sees strength in me that I can't see yet.

A Bible affirmation for self doubt, rooted in Judges 6:12.

And the angel of the LORD appeared to Gideon and said, “The LORD is with you, O mighty man of valor.”

Judges 6:12 · BSB

Reflection

Gideon was hiding, threshing wheat in a winepress so the enemy wouldn't see him. The angel greeted him as a mighty man of valor. God called him what He was going to make him, not what he felt like.

A prayer

Lord, call out the courage in me that I can't see. Make me who You say I am.
