Verses for Postpartum

Being exhausted doesn't make me a bad mother.

A Bible affirmation for postpartum, rooted in Matthew 11:28.

Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

Matthew 11:28 · BSB

Reflection

You can be deeply grateful for your baby and deeply tired at the same time. Jesus doesn't make you choose. He welcomes the weary and burdened, and new mothers are both.

A prayer

God, help me rest where I can, and let go of guilt that isn't from You.
