God's peace can hold me on the hard days of new motherhood.

A Bible affirmation for postpartum, rooted in Philippians 4:7.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:7 · BSB

Reflection

The weeks after birth can feel holy and overwhelming in the same hour. God's peace isn't put off by tears, hormones or exhaustion. If the heaviness won't lift, telling your doctor is part of letting yourself be cared for too.

A prayer

God, cover my mind with Your peace, and help me receive care as freely as I give it.
