Verses for Anxiety

I only have to carry today.

A Bible affirmation for anxiety, rooted in Matthew 6:34.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 6:34 · BSB

Reflection

Your mind can hold today, tomorrow, next year and every what-if at once, until there's no room left to breathe. Jesus narrows the load to one day. Tomorrow will have its own grace when it comes.

A prayer

Father, keep me in today. Help me stop borrowing tomorrow's weight.
