Verses for Anxiety

I can bring my anxiety to God before it runs my day.

A Bible affirmation for anxiety, rooted in Philippians 4:6.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Philippians 4:6 · BSB

Reflection

Paul wrote be anxious for nothing while in chains, not knowing whether he would live or die. He wasn't dismissing worry from a comfortable chair. He was showing what to do with it: pray it, with thanks, and let God keep the rest.

A prayer

Lord, here is what I'm anxious about. I'm praying it instead of carrying it.
