Verses for Anxiety

The Lord is my shepherd. I don't have to manage everything.

A Bible affirmation for anxiety, rooted in Psalm 23:1.

A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Psalm 23:1 · BSB

Reflection

Anxiety says your safety depends on managing every outcome. Sheep don't manage outcomes. They follow a shepherd who already knows the way. You're allowed to put that weight down.

A prayer

Lord, shepherd me through what I can't control. Teach me to trust Your care.
