Verses for Dark Days

Weeping may last the night, but morning is coming.

A Bible affirmation for dark days, rooted in Psalm 30:5.

For His anger is fleeting, but His favor lasts a lifetime. Weeping may stay the night, but joy comes in the morning.

Psalm 30:5 · BSB

Reflection

David wrote this after God brought him back from the edge. The night is real, and sometimes it's long. But it isn't permanent. Joy comes in the morning, even when the morning is slow to arrive.

A prayer

Lord, sit with me through this night, and lead me toward the morning.
