The old things have passed. God is announcing new things.

A Bible affirmation for new beginnings, rooted in Isaiah 42:9.

Behold, the former things have happened, and now I declare new things. Before they spring forth I proclaim them to you.

Isaiah 42:9 · BSB

Reflection

God points out that His past promises came true, and now He declares new things, before they spring forth. A new beginning often starts as a word from God before there's anything to see.

A prayer

Lord, show me the new things You're doing. Help me believe before I see.
