Verses for New Beginnings

Fresh mercy this morning means I can start again.

A Bible affirmation for new beginnings, rooted in Lamentations 3:22-23.

Because of the loving devotion of the LORD we are not consumed, for His mercies never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!

Lamentations 3:22-23 · BSB

Reflection

His mercies never fail was written from the rubble of a destroyed city. If new mercy could reach there, it can reach you. Starting over isn't pretending yesterday didn't happen. It's trusting that God's faithfulness came with the morning.

A prayer

God, meet me with fresh mercy. Help me begin again without dragging yesterday behind me.
