Verses for Breaking Free

God always provides a way out, and I can take it.

A Bible affirmation for breaking free, rooted in 1 Corinthians 10:13.

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it.

1 Corinthians 10:13 · BSB

Reflection

Paul says no temptation is unique to you, and God won't let it go beyond what you can bear. With the temptation He provides an escape. Sometimes the way out is a phone call, a walk or simply leaving the room.

A prayer

God, show me the way out when temptation comes, and give me the strength to take it.
