Verses for Breaking Free

There is no condemnation for me in Christ.

A Bible affirmation for breaking free, rooted in Romans 8:1-2.

Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death.

Romans 8:1-2 · BSB

Reflection

Just before this, Paul describes his own struggle: doing what he hates and failing to do what he wants. Then: there is now no condemnation. Shame keeps people stuck. Grace sets them free to keep fighting.

A prayer

Jesus, lift the condemnation I keep putting on myself. Set me free to keep fighting.
