Verses for After a Failure

What didn't work can still teach me. Grace makes that possible.

A Bible affirmation for after a failure, rooted in 2 Corinthians 12:9.

But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest on me.

2 Corinthians 12:9 · BSB

Reflection

Without grace, failure is something to hide. With grace, it can be looked at honestly and learned from. Paul even boasted about his weaknesses, because they showed off God's strength.

A prayer

God, turn this mistake into wisdom. Help me move forward humbler and stronger.
