Verses for After a Failure

Jesus restores people who failed Him, and He has work for me.

A Bible affirmation for after a failure, rooted in John 21:17.

Jesus asked a third time, “Simon son of John, do you love Me?” Peter was deeply hurt that Jesus had asked him a third time, “Do you love Me?” “Lord, You know all things,” he replied. “You know I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.

John 21:17 · BSB

Reflection

Peter denied Jesus three times. After the resurrection, Jesus asked him three times, do you love Me? Then He gave him a job: feed My sheep. Jesus didn't only forgive Peter. He trusted him again.

A prayer

Jesus, You know I love You, even after my failures. Restore me and show me how to serve.
