God cares about my health, my rest and my peace of mind.

A Bible affirmation for rest and self care, rooted in 3 John 1:2.

Beloved, I pray that in every way you may prosper and enjoy good health, as your soul also prospers.

3 John 1:2 · BSB

Reflection

John opens a personal letter to his friend Gaius by praying for his health, not only his soul. God isn't interested in your spiritual life alone. Your body and your wellbeing matter to Him too.

A prayer

God, You care about all of me. Show me what my body and mind need today.
