Verses for Healing a Relationship

I can forgive today and still take time to rebuild trust.

A Bible affirmation for healing a relationship, rooted in Colossians 3:13.

Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Colossians 3:13 · BSB

Reflection

Paul says forgive as the Lord forgave you. Forgiveness releases the debt. Trust is different: it gets rebuilt slowly, through changed behavior. You can do the first today and give the second time.

A prayer

Lord, help me forgive the way You forgave me, and give me wisdom about trust.
