God runs toward people who come home, and I can too.
A Bible affirmation for healing a relationship, rooted in Luke 15:20.
So he got up and went to his father. But while he was still in the distance, his father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him.
Luke 15:20 · BSBReflection
In Jesus' story, the father sees his wayward son from a distance and runs to him, something no dignified man of that time would do. He doesn't wait for the full apology. Grace moves first.
A prayer
Father, thank You for running to me. Help me show that kind of grace to someone who hurt me.
