Verses for Healing a Relationship

I won't let someone's wrong make me bitter. I'll answer it with good.

A Bible affirmation for healing a relationship, rooted in Romans 12:21.

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Romans 12:21 · BSB

Reflection

Paul has just told his readers not to take revenge. Then he gives them something to do instead: overcome evil with good. You can't control what someone did. You can control what it turns you into.

A prayer

God, keep me from being overcome by what was done to me. Help me answer with good.
