Verses for Confidence

God calls me by name. I am His.

A Bible affirmation for confidence, rooted in Isaiah 43:1.

But now, this is what the LORD says - He who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine!

Isaiah 43:1 · BSB

Reflection

God says this to a people who had failed Him and ended up in exile. He doesn't start with a lecture. He starts with: do not fear, I have redeemed you, you are Mine. Confidence starts with belonging.

A prayer

Lord, thank You for calling me by name. Help me walk today like someone who belongs to You.
