I can be brave today. God goes everywhere I go.

A Bible affirmation for confidence, rooted in Joshua 1:9.

Have I not commanded you to be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.

Joshua 1:9 · BSB

Reflection

Joshua had just inherited Moses' job: leading a nation into a land full of armies. God told him three times in one chapter to be strong and courageous. Courage wasn't his personality. It was a command backed by a promise.

A prayer

Lord, I'm walking into something that scares me. Go with me, and make me brave.
