Verses for Confidence

The Lord is my light. Who is there to fear?

A Bible affirmation for confidence, rooted in Psalm 27:1.

Of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life - whom shall I dread?

Psalm 27:1 · BSB

Reflection

David asks two questions and doesn't answer them, because the answer is obvious: no one. When God is your light and your stronghold, fear loses its biggest argument.

A prayer

Lord, be my light today in the places I feel afraid. Be my safe place.
