Verses for Overthinking

I don't have to figure out everything that's too big for me.

A Bible affirmation for overthinking, rooted in Psalm 131:1.

A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, O LORD, my eyes are not haughty. I do not aspire to great things or matters too lofty for me.

Psalm 131:1 · BSB

Reflection

David says he doesn't concern himself with matters too lofty for him. That isn't laziness. It's humility. Some questions are God's to carry, and your mind is allowed to set them down.

A prayer

Lord, I'm setting down the questions that are too big for me. You carry them.
