Reflection

A mother bird covers her chicks with her wings when danger comes. Psalm 91 uses that picture for God. If safety was taken from you, God offers a refuge that doesn't depend on your surroundings.

Lord, cover me with Your feathers. Teach my heart what it feels like to be safe again.
