Verses for Boundaries

I'm allowed to protect what God has entrusted to me.

A Bible affirmation for boundaries, rooted in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20.

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God with your body.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 · BSB

Reflection

You are not your own, Paul says. It sounds like a restriction, but it's also a protection. Your body, time and peace belong to God, so not everyone gets unlimited access to them.

A prayer

Lord, help me protect my heart, body, time and peace without guilt.
