Verses for Boundaries

I'm here to please God, not to manage everyone's reaction.

A Bible affirmation for boundaries, rooted in Galatians 1:10.

Am I now seeking the approval of men, or of God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant of Christ.

Galatians 1:10 · BSB

Reflection

Paul had to choose between the approval of influential people and faithfulness to Christ. He chose Christ, and some people were unhappy. Someone will dislike your boundary. That doesn't make it wrong.

A prayer

Father, free me from needing everyone's approval. Help me obey You calmly.
