I don't have to say yes just because everyone is looking for me.

A Bible affirmation for boundaries, rooted in Mark 1:37-38.

and when they found Him, they said, “Everyone is looking for You!” But Jesus answered, “Let us go on to the neighboring towns so I can preach there as well, for that is why I have come.”

Mark 1:37-38 · BSB

Reflection

The disciples found Jesus praying and said everyone is looking for You. He didn't go back to the crowd. He said let us go on to the next towns, for that is why I have come. Knowing your purpose helps you know when to say no.

A prayer

Lord, help me know what You've called me to, so I can say no to what You haven't.
