Verses for a Heavy Mind

What I see right now is temporary. What God is doing lasts.

A Bible affirmation for a heavy mind, rooted in 2 Corinthians 4:18.

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:18 · BSB

Reflection

Paul had every reason to stare at his problems. Instead he fixed his eyes on what is unseen. That isn't denial. It's perspective: hard things are temporary, and what God is building in you is eternal.

A prayer

Jesus, fix my eyes on what lasts. Help me see today's problems in the light of forever.
