Verses for a Heavy Mind

God sees further than I can, and I can rest in that.

A Bible affirmation for a heavy mind, rooted in Isaiah 55:8-9.

For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:8-9 · BSB

Reflection

God says His thoughts are as much higher than ours as the heavens are above the earth. That's humbling. It's also a relief: you don't have to understand everything for it to be in good hands.

A prayer

Lord, Your ways are higher than mine. Help me trust You when I can't see the whole picture.
