Verses for a Heavy Mind

I'm choosing what I let my mind dwell on.

A Bible affirmation for a heavy mind, rooted in Philippians 4:8.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think on these things.

Philippians 4:8 · BSB

Reflection

Paul gives a filter for your thoughts: true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, admirable. Think on these things means giving them space on purpose. What you dwell on, you slowly become.

A prayer

God, help me think on what's true and lovely today, and let go of the rest.
