I'm clay in the Potter's hands, and He knows what He's making.
A Bible affirmation for purpose, rooted in Isaiah 64:8.
But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are the potter; we are all the work of Your hand.
Isaiah 64:8 · BSBReflection
Clay doesn't argue with the potter about what it should become. Isaiah prays this as both confession and comfort: You are our Father, we are the clay. Being shaped can be uncomfortable. The Potter's hands are kind.
A prayer
Father, You're the Potter. Shape me into what You have in mind.
