God is working in me, even in my wanting to do His will.

A Bible affirmation for purpose, rooted in Philippians 2:13.

For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.

Philippians 2:13 · BSB

Reflection

Paul says God works in you both to will and to act. When you don't feel like doing the right thing, you can ask Him for the wanting too. Even motivation can be a gift.

A prayer

Lord, give me the desire and the strength to do what You're asking.
