My plans are many, but God's purpose will stand.

A Bible affirmation for purpose, rooted in Proverbs 19:21.

Many plans are in a man’s heart, but the purpose of the LORD will prevail.

Proverbs 19:21 · BSB

Reflection

You can hold a dozen plans in your heart at once. Proverbs reminds you which one prevails: the Lord's purpose. That isn't a threat. It's a relief. His purpose for you is better than your best plan.

A prayer

Lord, I hold my plans loosely. Let Your purpose stand in my life.
