Verses for Mental Health

God comforts me in all my troubles, including this one.

A Bible affirmation for mental health, rooted in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 · BSB

Reflection

Paul calls God the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, and says that comfort reaches all our troubles. Not only the presentable ones. You can receive it before you can explain how you feel.

A prayer

God of all comfort, comfort me in what I can't fix quickly. Keep hope alive in me.
