Verses for Letting Go

Forgiving sets me free too.

A Bible affirmation for letting go, rooted in Mark 11:25.

And when you stand to pray, if you hold anything against another, forgive it, so that your Father in heaven will forgive your trespasses as well.

Mark 11:25 · BSB

Reflection

Jesus connects forgiving others with receiving forgiveness. Holding a grudge is like keeping your hand clenched. You can't receive with a closed fist. Forgiveness opens your hand.

A prayer

Lord, I'm choosing to forgive. Open my clenched hands.
