Verses for Letting Go

I'm leaving justice in God's hands.

A Bible affirmation for letting go, rooted in Romans 12:19.

Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but leave room for God’s wrath. For it is written: “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.”

Romans 12:19 · BSB

Reflection

Paul tells believers not to take revenge but to leave room for God. Letting go of revenge isn't saying what happened was okay. It's trusting that God saw it and will deal with it rightly.

A prayer

God, I'm letting go of my need to get even. I trust You to handle this justly.
