Verses for Being Present

Today has enough in it. I'll leave tomorrow with God.

A Bible affirmation for being present, rooted in Matthew 6:34.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Today has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 6:34 · BSB

Reflection

Jesus said this right after pointing to birds and wildflowers that God feeds and clothes. Worry borrows trouble from a day that hasn't come yet. Today's grace is for today.

A prayer

Jesus, I give You tomorrow. Help me live this day without carrying the next one.
